| Cavernoma Documentary |
I am a freelance television producer and director with family experience of cavernomas. Ian at Angioma Alliance asked me if we could raise awareness of the condition by making a documentary on the subject. I am looking for potential contributors for the documentary who have brainstem cavernomas and are considering surgery in the next six months. read more ... (01/07/08)

Saturday June 7, 2008, was for many of us UK members the high point of the year. The board and I had spent twelve months lining-up speakers, having meetings, arranging hotel accommodations, having meetings, visiting venues, having meetings, competing for that most unfortunate of things, money, having meetings, ensuring members were informed about the event - the 2nd International Angioma Alliance UK Forum - and having meetings. The only thing it seems we did not have a meeting about was the weather - and there seemed little we could do about that (although I seem to remember hearing something a few years ago on the radio about Paul McCartney and dry ice attempting to change the climate before a concert in Russia). read more ... | Project Proposal for 2008 Forum |
Back in November last year a paper (Adobe/PDF, 6KB) was presented to the board of AA UK which proposed to establish a number of satellites consisting of groups of members in various regions of the UK. The purpose would be for members and their families to gain mutual support by periodically meeting up informally with others. read more ... (21/04/08)
